Acceptable Use Policy
In short
Share useful apps with people who want them. Don’t share apps that harm, spy on, trick or exploit anyone, and don’t attack Phinneas or use it as a public app store.
1.Apps you must not make or share
- malware, viruses, ransomware, cryptominers or anything that damages devices or data;
- apps that secretly track people, read their messages, record them, or collect data they didn’t agree to;
- phishing, scams, fake login pages, or apps pretending to be another company or person;
- apps that steal or misuse passwords, payment details or other personal information;
- child sexual abuse material, or anything that sexualises minors;
- content that is illegal where you or the people using it are, or that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
- apps that encourage violence, terrorism, harassment or hate against people or groups;
- gambling or financial apps that break the law or hide their risks.
2.How you must not use Phinneas
- don’t try to get into accounts, apps or data that aren’t yours;
- don’t probe, scan, overload or attack the service, or get around its limits (like the build limits);
- don’t use builds for anything other than preparing your app, such as mining or running unrelated jobs;
- don’t send spam with invitations or share links;
- don’t use Phinneas to run a public app store or to distribute apps to large numbers of strangers. It’s for private sharing with people you know.
3.Reporting a problem
If you see an app that breaks these rules, report it at phinneas.me/report or email support@phinneas.me. Security issues with Phinneas itself can be sent to the same address. Please give us a chance to fix them before making them public.
4.What we do about it
We may stop sharing an app, pause its installs, remove it, or suspend an account, and we may report illegal content to the authorities. Where it’s safe to, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. See the Terms of Service.
