Export Control Notice
In short
Don’t use Phinneas to send apps to places, or people, that sanctions laws forbid, and don’t put restricted technology in your apps.
1.Your responsibility
Apps you share through Phinneas are your exports, not ours. You’re responsible for following the export and sanctions laws that apply to you and to your apps, including those of India, the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom.
2.What isn't allowed
- using Phinneas from, or sharing apps to people in, countries or regions under comprehensive sanctions;
- sharing apps with people or organisations on government sanctions or restricted-party lists;
- putting technology in your apps that needs an export licence you don’t have, such as controlled encryption or military software.
3.Our tools
Phinneas and the apps it prepares use standard, publicly available encryption to keep connections safe. Our build machines are provided by GitHub, which applies its own trade controls. We may block access where the law requires it.
